At least 461 pregnant and lactating mothers (PLM) from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) successfully registered in the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) i-Registro platform from February 24 to 27, 2025.
With their records updated, these beneficiaries are now set to receive additional First 1000 Days (F1KD) conditional cash grants in the next payout cycle. The program provides an extra ₱350.00 monthly grant to support proper nutrition, health services, and early child development, helping reduce stunting and malnutrition among young children.
DSWD MIMAROPA Regional Director Leonardo Reynoso emphasized that the financial aid aims to encourage health-seeking behavior among beneficiaries rather than promote continued pregnancy.
For Jay-i Doro, a mother of three from Barangay Tarusan, the additional assistance will help ensure her one-year-old child receives proper healthcare and nutrition.
“Sa kagaya kong ina, malaking tulong ito. Sisiguraduhin kong magiging mas malusog ang anak ko sa pamamagitan ng kumpletong pagpapabakuna at regular na pagpapacheck-up,” she said.
i-Registro is an online platform developed by DSWD to simplify the process of updating and managing 4Ps beneficiary records. It allows members, especially pregnant and lactating mothers, to update their status and secure the correct conditional cash grants.
Currently, 205,155 households are actively enrolled in 4Ps across the MIMAROPA region, including 82,664 in Palawan and 7,992 in the municipality of Bataraza.
DSWD encourages active 4Ps members to update their records through the self-service online portal at https://iregistro-4ps.dswd.gov.ph/. Using a phone and internet access, beneficiaries can update their status by submitting documents such as a medical certificate confirming pregnancy, a vaccination booklet for children, a Nanay and Baby Book, and a birth certificate.
The pilot implementation of i-Registro was carried out in collaboration with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bataraza, the Municipal Social Welfare Office, the DSWD National Household Targeting Office, and the Bataraza Municipal Action Team. (PR)
