The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) MIMAROPA has urged its members to register and avail of the Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama or “KonSulTa Package.”
The PhilHealth KonSulTa Package includes targeted health risk screening and assessment, initial and follow-up consultations, standard laboratory tests, and 21 essential drugs and medicines.
“Maganda po ang programang KonSulTa. It is more of preventive rather curative. It will prevent whatever illnesses na pwedeng mangyari sa atin,” PhilHealth MIMAROPA Regional Vice President Jerry F. Ibay said during the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas on Tuesday, September 10.
Ibay added that this program is a “game changer” because it allows members to access their contributions even if they are not sick.
Around 946,629 people have enrolled out of the 3,313,035 population in the MIMAROPA region since the launch of the KonSulTa program, PhilHealth reported.
Of these, 459,328 enrollees are from Palawan; 284,541 from Oriental Mindoro; 179,256 from Occidental Mindoro; 12,760 from Romblon; and 10,744 from Marinduque.
Meanwhile, PhilHealth Romblon and Marinduque’s Social Insurance Officers also asked for the assistance of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) and the local media across the MIMAROPA region to amplify the KonSulTa Package.
All PhilHealth members are encouraged to register and avail themselves of the KonSulTa Package, which may be done through self-registration via the member portal at www.philhealth.gov.ph or at any PhilHealth Local Insurance Offices in their area. (AS/PIA MIMAROPA)
