The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) says on its Weather Bulletin that Tropical Storm ‘Queenie’ has weakened into a remnant low at 2:00 PM today.
The Low Pressure Area was at 420 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (07.8 °N, 130.1 °E ).
This afternoon through tomorrow morning, the remnant low may bring light to moderate with at times heavy rains over CARAGA and Davao Oriental.
The remnant low is unlikely to bring rough seas over the coastal waters of the country which may result to risky conditions to mariners.
It will continue to move generally northwestward and may dissipate in the next 12 hours.
