The Department of Health-Center For Health Development Mimaropa (DOH-CHD-Mimaropa) will be honoring employees and partners who contributed in the campaign to halt the spread of Covid-19 in the region using the Prevent-Detect-Isolate-Treatment-Reintegrate Strategy this Friday at the “2021 Bida sa Pandemya.”
During an interview with One FM Palawan, Assistant Regional Director Vilma Diez said Resbakuna seals will given to hospitals and other facilities that have fully-vaccinated their people from cleaners up to management.
Nearly a week ago, Medical Officer IV Dr. Mathew Medrano reported in the last Mimaropa Region Task Force Covid-19 that healthcare workers regionwide have been 100% fully-vaccinated.
Mimaropa has about 53 temporary treatment and monitoring facilities (TTMFs), which will likewise be recognized for being certified and accredited with PhilHealth.
Certification, ARD Diez said, will ensure that facility will prevent transmission of infections, while accreditation with PhilHealth will help sustain operations.
Reimbursements of these TTMFs has reached roughly P23 millon, she said.
Infirmaries in Aborlan and Roxas in Palawan will also be feted for converting into TTMS.
On the other hand, partners Ayala Foundation will be honored for working with the Marinduque Provincial Government in the establishment of a bio-molecular laboratory and Skylight Hotel for working closely with the Puerto Princesa City government in isolating asymptomatic and Covid positive patients.
Also to be recognized are blood donation programs that were held in the region.
DOH-CHD-Mimaropa will also launch at the 2021 Bida sa Pandemya event, three new programs for the regional office.
The first is the Future-ready Kawani where recruitment process such as examinations and interviews will be done virtually to avoid the passing of infection; another is the Connectivity Committee Tracker to ensure transparency in its bidding process; and the last was the five-year regional health development facility plan that will be shared with the provinces.
But ARD Diez said governors may still add inputs into the plan. (L. Plantilla)
