The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Mimaropa headed by Dir. Cesario Castro has tap several advocates to be trained on their Barangay Drug Clearing Program, Advocacy and Drug-Free Workplace Program.
The event was held in Romblon, Romblon recently.
According to PDEA Mimaropa, the training aims to create a pool of knowledgeable and skilled advocates who can educate the community regarding the dangers of illegal drugs and the importance of preventing its use.
Experts from Regional Barangay Drug Clearing Program Team, Preventive Education and Community Involvement Service, and from PDEA Romblon spearheaded the activity.
A total of twenty (20) participants actively participated during the lectures, group activities, and return demo before receiving their certificates of completion.
After the trainig, they will become part of PDEA's force multipliers in the conduct of anti-illegal drug advocacy campaign in the province.
