The Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) Romblon organization, led by fashion designer Pablo Mendez, held its first province-wide pageant in Romblon to find a candidate to compete at the national level, Miss Universe Philippines.
This expansion, a result of Mendez’s partnership with MUPH, provides a platform for local talent to shine and connects Romblon’s pageant aspirants with resources previously unavailable. The event celebrated Romblon’s culture and beauty while empowering candidates with opportunities for skill-building, mentorship, and exposure to the pageant industry.

During the pageant’s final show, Mendez promised to expand the reach of MUPH Romblon next year. This strengthens the province’s presence in the pageantry world, aligning with MUPH’s goal of bringing representation from diverse regions across the Philippines.
