The northeast monsoon affecting Luzon will bring rains over most parts of the island, the weather bureau said Saturday.
The Cordillera and Cagayan Valley regions and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have scattered rains while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon (except Palawan) will experience isolated rains, added the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Palawan and the rest of the archipelago will have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Strong winds will blow over northern Luzon and the eastern section of central and southern Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be moderate to strong with moderate to rough seas.
Meanwhile, Typhoon Kammuri was last tracked at 1,220 km. east of southern Luzon.
“Kammuri” was moving west southwest at 15 kph, PAGASA said. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
