An athelete from the Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology was rushed this evening to the nearest hospital in Odiongan, Romblon after her leg injury sustained from a basketball game yesterday worsened.
The MinsCAT school publication, confirmed the report. Romelyn Espiritu, identified by the The Builders/Pandayan was ‘stretchered off’ from her accomodation to Romblon Provincial Hospital.
In a separate report yesterday from Romblon State University’s The Harrow, Espiritu tumble down while playing basketball against Palawan State University causing her leg injury. She was also rushed after the incident to RPH to undergo X-Ray examination.
Espiritu along with the other athletes are participating on the 2019 Southern Tagalog Regional Association of State Universities and Colleges (STRASUC) Olympics.
