I would like to dedicate this to the Simaranhon basketball loving community as we step forward to a new amateur league that could keep us physically fit and healthy, free from vices, generate jobs to our local referees and small stall owners, attract tourists and entertainment to our small island specially this off-season months where habagat is prevalent and maintain sportsmanship among our players aside from discovering new potential talents from our teams, that could excel further” said Mirasol in a chat with the Romblon News Network.
According to him, the SABC is a complimentary league for the RBL, OMBC and BBL in developing future players that can excel in bigger leagues. In added development, the Champion teams from OMBC and AMIGOS will compete in a best of 3 winner take all. The league hopes that someday it could send a champion team to the Romblon Basketball League which M&K Enterprises is currently seeing in action in Manila.
