The first sporting day of the 2023 Mimaropa Regional Athletic Association (RAA) Meet in Romblon kicked off with Occidental Mindoro emerging as the front-runner in the medal tally, having secured 2 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medal.
The athletes from Occidental Mindoro displayed exceptional performance in various sporting events, showcasing their skills and determination.
Data from the Department of Education – Romblon also shows that closely behind Occidental Mindoro are Puerto Princesa with 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals, and Marinduque with 3 gold and 3 bronze medals.
Palawan claimed 5 medals, including 2 gold medals, while Oriental Mindoro earned 3 medals, including 1 gold.
Calapan City obtained 2 medals, and Romblon secured 1 medal.
