Senator Bong Go was the guest of honor at the Philippine Councilors' League – Romblon Chapter gathering on Thursday, June 6, held at Bayview Park Hotel in Manila.
In his speech, Go emphasized that as public servants, they share a common goal—to serve the people and contribute to the development of communities.
Go highlighted the similarities between the roles of senators and councilors, noting that while a senator's responsibilities cover a broader scope, the essence of public service remains the same. He stressed the importance of not limiting the services delivered to the Filipino people and always prioritizing the poor, the hopeless, the helpless, and those who have no one else to turn to but the government.
The senator encouraged councilors to continue their dedication to public service, ensuring that no one is left behind and that every community receives the support it needs to thrive.
