Danilo ‘Jed’ Fabiala, son of former board member and Corcuera Mayor Rachel Bañares, officially assumed his position as a member of the Sanggunian Panlalawigan today. Fabiala fills the seat vacated by his mother, who resigned earlier this year.
Fabiala took his oath before Governor Jose Riano and Vice Governor Armando Gutierrez during the 22nd Regular Session of the Sanggunian.
In his first speech as a board member, Fabiala expressed his commitment to focusing on key areas his mother prioritized, such as legislation, labor, and tourism. He also thanked his mother for setting a high standard of public service, vowing to match or exceed the level of service she provided.
Fabiala assured that he would work in unity with the provincial government to achieve their shared goals. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and coordination to overcome the challenges faced by the province and achieve their common objectives.
