Teachers from the different schools in Romblon gathered over the weekend at Romblon East Central School covered court to attend the culminating activity of this year’s National Teachers Day Celebration.
Dubbed HOW AND WOW: (Highlights of Work- Partnerships and Work-out and Wellness for Teachers), the celebration is a joint activity to showcase the partnership programs of SDO Romblon and at the same time celebrate National Teachers Day.
Despite the heavy downpour in the early morning of Saturday, teachers excitedly took part in the Zumba Session and opening program.
Education Program Specialist for Social Mobilization and Networking, Erlie Berano, provided a brief presentation of the different partnership activities of the division. Teachers were all giddy as they engaged in the organizers’ different parlor games and fun activities.
The event’s highlight is the free manicure, pedicure, and haircut for teachers and the raffle draw of Php 130,000 worth of products donated by AMWAY Philippines.
It includes some facial wash, toner, a make-up artistry bag, a canister of coffee, and energy drinks.
SDO Romblon, through the leadership of SDS Maria Luisa Servando, and the support of ASDS Mabel Musa and SGOD Chief Hipolito Berano, is thankful to AWMAY Philippines for supporting and donating their products that were distributed to the teachers. (PR)
