The 33rd National Statistics Month celebration kicked off with a motorcade and opening program organized by the Philippine Statistics Authority today, October 07.
The activity was attended by different National Government Agencies such as the Department of Education, Bureau of Fire, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Philippine National Police, and different Barangay LGUs.
The theme of the celebration, “Boosting Country’s Resources with Informed Decisions, Better Policies” gives emphasis on the importance of statistics and data in policy-making.
Engr. Johnny Solis, Chief Statistical Specialist in Romblon, enjoined everyone to support the activities of PSA as they celebrate National Statistics Month.
