Ipinagutos ng Department of Interior and Local Government nitong Sabado sa lahat ng Barangay captain sa buong bansa na ipaskil sa publiko ang listahan ng mga pasok sa social amelioration program para sa ‘transparency’.
Sinabi ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año na ang listahan ay dapat ilagay sa mga pampublikong lugar sa barangay, lalo na umano sa labas barangay hall.
“We want the process of identifying the target beneficiaries under the SAP to be transparent. Hence, we have directed all our punong barangays to post the masterlist of beneficiaries in strategic areas in their barangays so that the residents will also be informed if they will receive the said financial assistance from the government,” ayon sa statement ni Sec. Año.
Aniya, sa ganitong paraan ay makakapbigay ng feedback ang publiko kung sila ba ay karapatdapat talaga sa na nasa listahan.
“Kung mayroon mang kulang o mali sa listahan, maaari itong aksyunan ng city o municipal government o ipagbigay-alam sa DSWD,” ayon kay Año.
