Another two (2) affected workers in Romblon benefitted in line with the mandate of the Department of Labor and Employment to regulate labor laws and social legislation.
The said workers are posted in a government institution in the province of Romblon. The total back wages received was amounting to P332,617.90. DOLE MIMAROPA Sheriff, Ms. Lesly I. Romero facilitated the payment of wages and wage-related benefits together with DOLE Mimaropa OIC- Regional Director, Albert E. Gutib, TSSD Chief, Philip D. Ruga and Romblon FO Head, Roderick F. Tamacay.
The workers expressed their earnest thanks to the Department for giving assurance that they will receive from their employer the benefits due to them.
