Don’t talk to a stranger.
I remember when I was younger, my mother always reminds me of this. Even until now, where crimes involving teenagers are rampant. Every time I heard the word stranger, the first thing that comes into my mind is a danger. But as I grow up, I realized that some strangers play a big role in our life.
These people always greet us with their sweetest smile, and always welcome us with their cheerful voices. Every time we look on to their eyes, you can see the determination in them.
They are the janitors and street sweepers who always clean our mess and make sure our surroundings clean. Guards who are willing to protect us just to keep up safe and open doors for us. The fast-food crew who serve us food every time we starve.
I just think of them as a person who does their job. But as time goes by, I discover that they are not just simple strangers. They are more than what we think of them. Sadly, we usually don’t bother to smile or even say thank you to them. But a simple smile and thank you from us will make them feel appreciated and be motivated even more.
They may be strangers for us, but obviously, these people make our life easier. That’s why from now on, we should start appreciating these people.
