Tinanggal na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang suspension sa larong Lotto nitong Martes ng gabi, ayon kay Presidential Spokeperson Salvador Panelo.
Sa mensaheng pinadala ni Panelo sa mga mamahayag, sinabi nitong tanging ang Lotto games lamang ang pinayagan ng Pangulo na muling mag-operate.
“The rest of all gaming operations with franchises, licenses or permits granted by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), such as Small-Town Lottery (STL), Keno and Peryahan ng Bayan (PNB), shall remain suspended pending the investigation of illegal activities and corrupt practices related thereto until the Office of the President evaluates the results of said probe,” ayon kay Panelo.
Ang kautusan umanong ito ay ipapatupad na agad, at inaasahang bukas ay muli ng makakapagbenta ng Lotto tickets ang mga Lotto outlets sa buong bansa.
