After its successful launching in 2015, the Department of Trade and Industry MIMAROPA Region will once again conduct a Regional Trade Fair dubbed as, “MIMAROPA Naturally: Agri-Trade and Tourism Fair 2016” on 19-23 October 2016 in Megatrade Halls 1 and 2, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
The Department of Trade and Industry Romblon Provincial office have identified and supported more than 30 Romblomanon MSMEs to join the said event. Among our local products to be exhibited are popular delicacies, processed foods, agricultural products, health and wellness products, home décor, marbles, handicrafts and other novelty gift items.
The regional fair was made possible with the support of the Provincial LGUs of the region, DA IVB, DOT IVB, DTI Regional Operations Group (ROG), DTI Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development (BSMED), DAR IVB, DILG IVB and as well as support from the media. The objectives of the MIMAROPA Regional Trade Fair is to establish a venue of showcasing the best that the region has to offer, launch new products, services and destinations of the region; and improve economic activities through intensive interregional trade-link initiatives. The regional fair also seeks to encourage production of high quality and competitive products and gain domestic and export orders, immediate retail sales, acquire sub-contracts and contracts as raw material source.
DTI-Romblon is inviting all our kasimanwa in Manila to visit and support our local producers and manufacturers. From October 19 to 23 each MIMAROPA province will give entertainment by showcasing their culture and homegrown talents. Romblon will showcase her talents on October 23, 2016. See you there!
