Romblon State University (RSU) President Merian Mani has been recognized as one of the Philippines’ most inspiring teachers by Saceda Youth Lead (SYL) School, a non-governmental youth organization dedicated to empowering students and professionals in the ASEAN region.
In a press release, SYL praised Mani for using her sacrifices, struggles, and aspirations to ignite outstanding and inspiring achievements that have made significant contributions to Filipino families, communities, and the nation.
The 2024 SYL Most Inspiring Teachers of the Philippines will be honored in a formal ceremony on September 13, 2024, in Dumaguete City.
RSU issued a statement celebrating this recognition, noting that it is the first such award Mani has received since beginning her second term as RSU President on July 30.
