The President of Romblon State University (RSU) officially took her oath as an official non-voting member of the MIMAROPA Regional Development Council (RDC) on September 1, 2023, at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City.
As a non-voting member, the RSU President, Dr. Merian C. Mani, wealth of expertise and insights can now be consulted and considered by the Council during policy and project development.
This appointment represents a remarkable opportunity for RSU to actively participate in shaping regional policies and projects that will impact the MIMAROPA region’s growth and development.
The RSU President’s new role underscores the university’s unwavering commitment to align its efforts with the National Economic and Development Authority’s (NEDA) vision for inclusive economic growth and sustainable development.
University presidents from other universities in the region were also sworn in today.
