The sole university in the province of Romblon participated in the 2022 Australian International Education Conference (AIEC) in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia last October 18-22.
In a press release, RSU said that Dr. Catherine Bhel B. Aguila, Director of the Institute of Information Technology represented RSU at the international event.
“Dr. Aguila participated in various conference sessions and met with Australian universities like Southern Cross University, Griffith University, and RMIT University for possible partnerships to address the University’s current needs for more international research collaboration opportunities and transnational education delivery through offshore campuses, joint programs, and distance learning,” according to RSU official Facebook page.
AIEC featured captivating learning sessions, innovative networking opportunities, incredible keynote speakers, a buzzing exhibition, and fun social events, providing a unique convergence of networking, and learning.
It provided participants with opportunities to discover innovative approaches to common challenges in international education including country and industry insights, best practices, and the latest research.
Also present at the 2022 AIEC are representatives from AusTrade Manila, the Commission on Higher Education, and other state universities and private HEIs.
