President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Tuesday, October 18, signed Proclamation No. 79 declaring October 31, 2022 as a Special Non-Working Holiday throughout the country.
This will give Filipinos an opportune time to observe the All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day and and spend time with their family on extended days. This will also encourage long ‘weekend’ vacations which can help boost domestic tourism.
Previously, 1 November 2022 has also been proclaimed as a special non-working holiday. (KAA -PIA CPSD)
