San Jose, San Fernando LGU declares half-day work

Some local government units (LGU) in Romblon province declared half-day work for Wednesday in observance of Lent.

LGU San Jose in a memorandum said that the suspension of work from 12PM noon will give employees and officials sufficient time to prepare for the observance of the holy week.

However, units whose functions involve the delivery of basic services, preparedness and response to disaster, and other vital services will continue their operations.

The local government unit of San Fernando also released the same memorandum.
