President Rodrigo Duterte, in his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, stressed the government’s war against illegal drugs.
The President said the government will not stop in its fight against illegal drugs until drug lords and financers will be put behind bars or “below the ground if they wished so”.
The Chief Executive reiterates his administration will relentlessly fight against illegal drugs along with criminality and corruption.
“I repeat; do not do drugs,” President Duterte stressed.
He added that the government will create an Inter-Agency Committee on Illegal Drugs and integrate efforts and strengthen partnerships of stakeholders.
