Tropical Depression Ambo has maintenad its strength and is now threatening the Aurora province, according to the 11:00PM sever weather bulletin of Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
As of 10:00 PM, Ambu is located at 150km Southest of Baler, Aurora.
It has the maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center at is forecasted to move West Norwest at 28 kph.
AMBO is expected to weaken after making landfall over Aurora province early morning tomorrow.
PAGASA said Ambo tomorrow evening will be at 190 km Northwest of Dagupan City, and 600 km West of Laoag City on Tuesday night.
Public Cyclone Warning Signal Number 1 is raised over Northern Quezon including Polillo Islands, Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Ecija, Nueva, Vizcaya, Southern Isabela and Ifugao.
Residents in low lying and mountainous areas of the provinces with TCWS#1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides.
