Police Regional Office (PRO) MIMAROPA Regional Director Police Brigadier General Roger Quesada conducted a series of inspections on April 5, 2025, to assess the readiness of local police units in Romblon ahead of the upcoming 2025 National and Local Elections.
The inspection covered the Magdiwang Municipal Police Station (MPS), San Fernando MPS, and Cajidiocan MPS, where personnel were evaluated on their operational preparedness and adherence to security protocols.
As part of the visit, Quesada reiterated the directive of PNP Chief Rommel Francisco Marbil, emphasizing the need for all police officers to uphold public safety and election integrity.
The assessment aimed to identify potential security gaps and reinforce measures to prevent disruptions during the electoral process.
Quesada was accompanied by other officials from PRO MIMAROPA who provided further evaluations on security strategies.
