After more than two decades in public service, Vice Mayor Ronnie Samson is seeking a new mandate as he files his candidacy for mayor of San Jose in the upcoming local elections.
Samson began his political career as a municipal councilor and later served as a member of the Municipal Council. He completed two terms as Vice Mayor and three consecutive terms as Mayor before returning to serve another term as Vice Mayor.
During his time in office, Samson oversaw various infrastructure and utility projects in San Jose, including road expansions, the provision of round-the-clock electricity, and access to clean drinking water.
He is running under the banner “Serbisyong Totoo, Para sa Tao, Kasama ang Tao,” with a platform that emphasizes unity, peace, and development.
Samson is among several candidates vying for local leadership positions in Romblon as the 2025 elections approach.
