Romblon Lone District Representative Eleandro Jesus Madrona announced that more financial aid will be distributed in the coming months to support the livelihood of Romblomanons.
Madrona mentioned that at least P100 million in aid is still expected to be delivered to the province, benefitting residents in various sectors.
“Marami pang ipapamigay, sobra! Kung hindi ako nagkakamali, nasa mahigit 100 million pa ang kailangan natin ipamigay [sa mga tao],” Madrona stated.
This follows his recent initiative on Friday, where he led the distribution of P3,000 aid to 698 parents and guardians of senior high school students at Looc National High School. The aid, distributed under the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Tulong Eskwela Program, is aimed at providing financial assistance to families for their children’s education.
Madrona emphasized the importance of education during his speech.
“Ang P3,000 sana na ito ay makabigay ng dagdag tulong para mapatapos ninyo ang inyong mga anak,” according to madrona.
He expressed his continued commitment to securing more funds and support for education and other programs vital to the development of Romblon.
