Four women’s organizations from Cajidiocan, Romblon, received over PHP 1.4 million in financial assistance from the local government unit (LGU) to support their livelihood projects.
The women’s groups from Barangays Cambajao and Lumbang West received PHP 450,000 each, while those from Barangays Lico and Gutivan were granted PHP 255,000 each.
Cajidiocan Mayor Greggy Ramos expressed his hope that this financial aid would empower the women’s organizations and help improve the lives of their families, fostering economic growth in their communities.

Ramos also said that this initiative aims to boost local livelihoods and enhance opportunities for women in their municipality.
