Romblon Congressman Eleandro Madrona expressed his admiration for the improvements made on the asphalted road leading to Alcantara during his visit to the town on March 21.
On his speech during the Miss Alcantara 2024, Madrona emphasized his commitment to enhancing roads not only in Alcantara but also in other municipalities
“Rest assured that not only Alcantara, Mayor Lisette [Looc] mayroon ka rin, and Mayor Trina [Odiongan] nauna na, sunod-sunod na po lahat ng ating mga bayan pagagandahin natin ang ating mga kalsada because we are opening our province to tourism,” according to Madrona.
As the chairman of the committee on tourism in the House of Representatives, he pledged to prioritize efforts to beautify and enhance roads across all municipalities in Romblon.
In recent months, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has been actively enhancing the Tablas Circumferential Road by asphalting it and installing solar lights and solar studs.
