The Romblon Book Club (RBC) is on a mission to transform the residents of Romblon into avid readers, and their recent visit to remote barangays in Tablas Island exemplifies their commitment to this cause. The group distributed books, school kits, and hygiene kits, in addition to conducting educational sessions in two underserved communities.

In a press release, RBC said that they visited Aurora Elementary School in Barangay Patoo, Odiongan, and Sitio Cabibihan in Brgy. Talisay, Calatrava.
The group also conducted storytelling to the young people regarding the environment and a short talk on how to maintain proper hygiene.
