In a recent press conference following the official declaration of Palawan as insurgency-free, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. urged citizens to report any violations of the prescribed price ceiling related to rice.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining the correct prices for rice, as stated in Executive Order No. 39, which sets the price ceiling for regular milled rice at P41.00 per kilogram and well-milled rice at P45.00 per kilogram.
The President highlighted that individuals can report rice retailers who sell above the specified price ceiling to the Department of Agriculture, local government units, or the Philippine National Police.
