On March 22, members of the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity and Sorority in the Province of Marinduque headed by its alumni president Mr. Joven Lilles held a coastal cleanup at the coastline of Brgy. Buliasnin, Boac, Marinduque.
APO, a scouting based service fraternity dedicated in developing world-class leaders through service supports a lifelong path of service and civic engagement, and educates the public, the media, and elected officials about the role of each sectors as community leaders.
“Our service program provides many opportunities for the development of social awareness, friendships, and leadership skills. Participation in our service program helps make Alpha Phi Omega the unique fraternal organization that it is.” Said Mr. Lilles
In view of environmental thrusts, the APO fraternity/sorority remains committed to joining and organizing several activities and projects that would help free areas in its immediate community from wastes and eventually, make the province of Marinduque a better place for everyone.
