The Philippine Red Cross today encouraged parents to have their children vaccinated against COVID-19.
“Through the leadership of PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Sen. Richard “Dick” Gordon, we are calling all parents to have their children vaccinated against COVID-19,” PRC said in a statement.
The Philippine Red Cross Bakuna Center at the PLMC in Mandaluyong is open for the entire month of November to vaccinate minors 12 to 17 years of age.
PRC will vaccinate minors without comorbidities with the Pfizer vaccine.
“The vaccination schedule will be forwarded to your registered cellphone number,” PRC said.
Gordon reminded the public to continue wearing face mask and face shield, observe physical distancing, observe proper hand hygiene and wash your hands with soap and water.
“Together, we will win our war against COVID-19,” Gordon said.
