The local government of Looc on Friday announced that they are now opening all tourist spots in town including the famous Looc Bay Marine Refuge and Sanctuary for fully-vaccinated tourists.
This is after the Provincial Government of Romblon and the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases eases quarantine and travel restriction in the province.
“Start na kami. Open naman talaga siya actually for locals, pero ngayong tinanggal na ‘yung ibang restrictions, para sa lahat na,” the town Mayor Lisette Arboleda said in Tagalog.
The mayor also said that as an incentive for fully-vaccinated tourists, they will be offering them a 25% discount for the entrance fee and 50% for the rentals of their Kayak.
To make sure that protocols will be followed, they will only accommodate up to 50% capacity of the platform.
Mayor Arboleda also said that all LGU staff assigned to the Looc Bay Marine Refuge and Sanctuary and Bantay Dagat members are all fully-vaccinated.
