After more than a year of being Covid-19 free, the town of Ferrol in Romblon on Wednesday announces that they recorded their first case of the virus.
It is a 30-year old man and resident of Barangay Tubigon.
According to Ferrol Rural Health Unit, the patient came from a high-risk area and is currently on quarantine since April 2 at the barangay isolation facility.

After a few days, he shows some symptoms that is why he was scheduled for RT-PCR testing.
The RHU asked the public to still practice and observe the Minimum Public Health Standards to prevent the further spread of the disease.
