Expect rainshowers in most parts of the country on Wednesday due to the presence of Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the dominant weather system affecting the country, state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
The ITCZ which is the thick clouds coming from the south of Asia, is considered a breeding ground for low-pressure areas (LPAs) or potential cyclones affecting Visayas and Mindanao.
For Wednesday forecast, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will be experienced over Bicol Region, Visayas, Mindanao and Palawan province. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southeast to south over Visayas and Mindanao. The coastal waters over the whole archipelago will be slight to
