The Office of the Civil Defense Mimaropa has reported that 281 passengers are currently stranded at the ports of Romblon, San Agustin, Corcuera, and Magdiwang in Romblon due to Typhoon #AghonPH. Alongside the passengers, 33 rolling cargoes are also stranded, while 3 ships and 9 boats remain unable to depart from the province.
As of now, only three municipalities in Romblon—Corcuera, Banton, and Concepcion—remain under Signal #1.
Despite this, according to Coast Guard Station Romblon, all maritime travel within the province is still suspended due to high waves, ensuring the safety of both passengers and vessels.
Other authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and provide necessary assistance to those affected by the typhoon's disruption.
