The town of Odiongan will soon have a modern and fully air-conditioned food court before the year ends.
This development will come through the construction of a new food court located at the public utility vehicle terminal within the Odiongan Public Market.
During the program “Oras ng Lokal na Pamahalaan,” ENP Alexander Foja shared that the bidding process for the first phase of the project has already started.
According to him, having a modern and comfortable food court aligns with the town’s status as a first-class municipality in 2025.
Martin Lasaga, the head of the Odiongan Municipal Economic Enterprise Development Office, expressed that the new food court would provide greater convenience for diners, particularly those coming from neighboring towns who frequently pass through the terminal.
The multi-phase project will be funded by both the Provincial Government of Romblon and the Local Government Unit of Odiongan.
