The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) distributed a total of P22.25 million in cash assistance to 2,225 residents of Odiongan, Romblon, on Friday.
Leading the distribution were Congressman Erwin Tulfo, DSWD Assistant Secretary for Specialized Programs Florentino Y. Loyola Jr., DSWD MIMAROPA Assistant Regional Director for Operations Sheila Tapia, and Odiongan Vice Mayor Diven Dimaala.

Each beneficiary of the agency’s Sustainable Livelihood Program received P10,000 in cash assistance.
During his visit to Odiongan, Congressman Tulfo emphasized that the aid is part of President Bongbong Marcos’ commitment to uplift Filipinos from poverty and ensure that no one is left behind in the country’s recovery efforts.
