Authorities arrested Rudy Falible, a 35-year-old resident of Odiongan, Romblon, during an anti-drug operation on August 6.
According to the Odiongan Municipal Police Station, the suspect sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for ₱1,000. After the transaction, the arresting team immediately apprehended him.
The operation, conducted by the Odiongan Municipal Police Station in collaboration with PDEA Romblon, Romblon Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the Romblon Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, also led to the discovery of an additional sachet of illegal drugs, weighing a total of 0.06 grams with a street value of ₱3,000.
Falible is now in custody and faces charges under Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
