The local government unit of Odiongan is building a one-unit classroom building at Barangay Tabobo-an Elementary School to accommodate the increasing student population, which now exceeds 170 students for the current school year.
This classroom is funded by Odiongan’s Special Education Fund (SEF) for the current year. The building will have a standard floor area of 63 square meters, with two doors and large windows to ensure proper ventilation.
Odiongan Mayor Trina Firmalo-Fabic led the groundbreaking ceremony held today.
She emphasized that this is the first classroom funded by the SEF, which was allocated following a request to the School Board to designate part of the SEF for constructing classrooms.
