The Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing (ROCBDC) MIMAROPA has reaffirmed the drug-cleared status of ten towns in Romblon province.
These towns, namely Banton, Calatrava, Concepcion, Corcuera, Looc, San Andres, San Fernando, San Jose, Santa Fe, and Santa Maria, have successfully maintained a drug-cleared designation across all 107 of their barangays.
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), a barangay is considered drug-cleared when all individuals on the Philippine National Police (PNP) and PDEA watchlists have been accounted for and have undergone rehabilitation.
This status reflects the community’s compliance with the anti-illegal drug operations guidelines.
The ROCBDC, established in 2017, was created to implement a comprehensive anti-illegal drug initiative aimed at safeguarding individuals and communities from the perils of drug addiction.
