The local government unit (LGU) of Odiongan distributed more than P1 million in cash aid to 536 graduating college students from Romblon State University and Erhard Systems Technological Institute on Friday.
According to Engr. Reden Escarilla, the Local Youth Development officer, the initiative, spearheaded by Mayor Trina Firmalo-Fabic, aims to alleviate the financial burden of graduating students as they fulfill their requirements for graduation.
“The distribution of cash aid, which started in 2022, is a collaborative effort among different LGU departments,” Escarilla stated.

He also expressed gratitude to the residents and taxpayers for their contributions, which made the program possible.
