In a message delivered during the 127th death anniversary commemoration of Dr. Jose Rizal at Odiongan Children’s Park and Paradise, Mayor Trina Firmalo-Fabic emphasized the importance of unity between the government and private sector in driving positive change in the community.
She highlighted Odiongan’s recognition for government efficiency and expressed joy in the town’s upcoming elevation to a First Class municipality in 2024.
“Building this monument is a testament that not only the government is taking action but also the private sector. Everyone is moving and contributing to our town. It’s not difficult to lead a community where everyone willingly participates,” Mayor Firmalo-Fabic stated.
She continued to share the town’s achievements, leading in the Mimaropa region and ranking second nationwide in Government Efficiency among first and second-class municipalities, according to the Department of Trade and Industry.
Mayor Firmalo-Fabic conveyed her hope for the community to remain prosperous, progressive, and resilient. She emphasized the power of collaboration and unity, echoing the message of Dr. Jose Rizal’s life.
“As long as we work together and stand united, nothing is impossible. And perhaps, that is the message of Dr. Jose Rizal’s life,” Mayor Firmalo-Fabic concluded.
