Dr. Eduardo ‘Lolong’ Firmalo, the former governor of Romblon, has received the prestigious Magnus Medicus et Magister Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of Maternal Fetal Medicine in the Philippines.
The award ceremony took place on November 29, honoring Firmalo for his outstanding service and leadership in advancing the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Firmalo served as the President of the Philippine Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine from 2000 to 2002, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s initiatives and promoting excellence in maternal and fetal healthcare.
