The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in the province of Romblon hires 255 new graduates to be government interns under the Government Internship Program (GIP).
In a press release, DOLE Mimaropa said interns will work for three months starting September 25.
They will be assigned to the municipalities of San Jose, Corcuera, Alcantara, Concepcion, Ferrol, Looc, Magdiwang, Romblon, San Fernando, Sta. Fe and San Agustin, to provide assistance to Local Government Units (LGUs) and other partner government agencies on the implementation of their programs and services.
Each intern will receive a daily stipend equivalent to the region’s minimum wage, amounting to Php355.00 per day, and they will also benefit from insurance coverage under the Group Personal Accident Insurance (GPAI) provided by the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).
