The Department of Science and Technology-Metals Industry Research and Development Center (DOST-MIRSD) launched the 2023 Metals and Engineering Week 2023 with the theme “Metals and Engineering Industry: Propelling the Economy toward Innovativeness and Sustainability” via Zoom platform, June 15, 2023.
The M&E Week is an annual event that recognizes the ever-growing importance of the metals, engineering, and allied industries to nation-building.
This year, the DOST will hold its activities such as M&E Industry Forum, 6th M&E Skills Competition, 2nd National M&E Conference and series of webinars and trainings.
One of the presenters of the virtual presser was John Lee, Chairman of the Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines (AIAP)— a non-stock, non-profit and non-governmental organization of small, medium and large enterprises in the PH aerospace and aviation industries.
The AIAP aims to help its members find their customers and partners to serve new export market and achieve sustainable competitiveness in the global arena; providing focused support works, representation and networking services with customers, government industry, academe, financial institutions, quality and productivity organizations, and other non-governmental bodies.
