Venancio: You need a leader that listens to you

Joey Galicia Venancio, the lone district candidate vows to change the political system in Romblon.

“The typical story of guns, goons, and gold shall be eradicated. A new government and a new congress for the Romblomanons shall be established”, Venancio said.

Venancio believes that it is time for the Romblomanons to experience a new brand of leadership.

“And tipo ng lider na kailangan ninyo ay ang nakikinig sainyong mga problema at hinaing. Bilang isang journalist sanay na sanay akong pakinggan ang mga tao at gumawa ng aksyon para bigyan ng solusyon ang kanilang mga problema. Kailangan niyo rin ng lider na kilala kayo at makikinig sainyo kahit hindi eleksyon. Ako ang lider na iyon. Tulungan ninyo ako”, Venancio said.

Venancio also reiterated that once he wins, he will not look at the political colors of his constituents because service is what the people need in these dark times.

“Kapag ako’y nanalo, wala munang kulay. Wala munang pamumulitika. Serbisyo muna ang ating uunahin at uunahin natin ang mga nasa laylayan”, Venancio said.
